A graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications & Advertising, Amanda brings a unique skill set to the legal services environment. This background has proven invaluable, equipping her with superior skills in active listening, understanding client needs, and delivering clear messaging during difficult, often stressful, times.
Amanda is a firm believer in leveraging cutting-edge systems and technology to simplify processes, allowing the legal team to focus entirely on superior results and service. Her natural desire to help others, combined with her ability to remain an empathetic listener and calm under pressure, is essential in building the operational foundation that supports the firm’s reputation for professional excellence in criminal defense.
Known for being a naturally calm and empathetic listener, Amanda brings unwavering dedication to every interaction. While new to the firm, her commitment to community service is demonstrated by her past role on the Board of Directors for Family Guidance Center in Hickory, NC. This agency provides critical resources for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, offering a women’s shelter and abuser intervention resources. Currently, Amanda maintains active involvement in her children’s school PTA.
Causes involving adoption hold a deep significance for Amanda, as three of her four children were adopted through foster care—a testament to her belief in supportive family and community foundations.
When she is not managing intake at the firm, Amanda enjoys spending quality time with her husband and four children, who range in age from 21 to 7. She is an avid crafter; she and her husband enjoy designing and creating custom wooden decor and jewelry.
